Wacky Chad to perform May 16-17 at
Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival
Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival welcomes daredevil extraordinaire, Wacky Chad, for six shows on Performance Row, Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17, 2015.  Laugh, gasp, cheer and hold your breath while stunt comedian Wacky Chad reaches heights of 9 feet on his pogo stick, rides a nine-foot tall unicycle and does handstands on a skateboard all while wearing a wireless headset microphone to interact with his crowd.

Wacky Chad defies gravity by preforming backflips on his air-powered pogo stick, while throwing out the notion that these remarkable stunts take full concentration. For more than a decade, Wacky Chad has made thousands of people laugh while performing his variety of tricks. Beyond serving as a street performer around the world since 2004, Wacky Chad’s award-winning extreme pogo stick skills and charmingly funny jokes landed him a stellar invitation to the NFL Super Bowl XLVIII.

Watch this awesome video clip of Wacky Chad and you’ll understand why his live performances at Wildflower! will be an unforgettable experience for the whole family to share. More information about Wacky Chad may be found on his website at www.wackychad.com or www.facebook.com/wackychad.

Crystal Yates - A Voice As Big As Texas

Crystal Yates - Top Ten Finalist
Performing Songwriter Contest
2015 Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival

They say that everything in Texas is bigger, and Crystal Yate's voice certainly lends credence to that claim. The soul and gospel music genres of the South’s influence on Crystal’s style is evident in her smooth full-bodied vocals and the heart and soul that goes into her music. When asked about her genre, Yates says that she is more soulful country than anything, and I wholeheartedly agree.

A transplant to McKinney, TX, Crystal was born and raised in Niceville, FL. She and her husband, Will, took a leap of faith when they moved to Texas to pursue her musical carrier. Since that time, Yates has produced a full album, Love Wins, and in October she released an EP titled I Believe. In 2014 she was the winner of the prestigious Texaco Country Showdown competition where she was named best new act in country music.

When asked about the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival and what she hopes to gain from the competition Crystal said “You know, I don’t enter a lot of competitions, but Wildflower! is different. They are legit. They are classy and respectable and I just want to get to know the people involved because I respect that community; the people who put it on and the songwriters who come.”
